Adil Ayi is founder and CEO of PLEQ, a Dutch technology company emerging from academic research at TU Delft, VU Amsterdam. He specializes in smart campus strategy, IoT architecture and data driven optimization of university real estate and public estates. With a background in applied data science and sensor engineering, Adil has led large scale deployments of occupancy, utilization and flow analytics across campuses in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and South Africa.

His work focuses on translating sensor data, Wi Fi analytics and scheduling systems into actionable intelligence for facility management, space planning, sustainability and student experience. He advises institutions on building scalable digital twins, integrating AI for decision support, and transitioning from fragmented pilots to enterprise platforms.
