Seb is an Associate at Architype Architects and leads its consultancy arm, Perform+, holding a passion to urgently decarbonise the built environment, prioritising bio-based materials for healthy and inspiring buildings that perform for the planet and for people. He leads Architype's Building Performance Evaluation team, closing the loop between generations buildings.Seb also contributes to various industry groups including the England Government's Inter-departmental Timber in Construction working group, is a Board member to the Alliance for Sustainable Building Products, and the Timber Development UK's sustainability committee and carbon sub-committee. He has contributed to peer-reviewed industry reports and publications including those on the impacts of measuring and reducing embodied carbon in construction.He is qualified as an architect, a Certified Passivhaus Designer, and studied at the University of Cambridge, the Centre for Alternative Technology, and University of Westminster.
